Trouble shooting steps: 1) Please begin by charging your 3Doodler Start, to ensure the motor is able to run at full power. This will take 45 minutes to 2 hours. Do not use the 3Doodler Start while charging. 2) Now that your pen is fully charged, try reversing the plastic by double clicking on the main button. 3) If that does not work, try running the pen forward, while using a second strand of 3Doodler Start plastic to firmly push the plastic inside forwards. If there is a small jam, this should force the plastic through the pen and clear it out. 4) If step 3 doesn t work, you can also try repeating the same step, but with a straightened paperclip, or other similar object - pushing it down the pen to dislodge any jams. 5) If steps 3 and 4 do not resolve the issue, please try inserting a straightened paperclip, or other similar thin metal object into the pen from the nozzle end, pushing it through the nozzle to dislodge any jams. Be sure to keep the paperclip straight so as not to damage or widen the nozzle. While working to dislodge the jam, double click the main button to put the pen into reverse - this will assist with loosening any plastic that has become stuck. 6) If the above doesn t work, please try reversing the pen while gently knocking the pen (with the back of the pen facing down) on a surface to dislodge the reversed plastic. 7) Finally, if the above hasn t worked, please cut off the tip of a new piece of plastic at a 45 degree angle. Insert that plastic into the pen and run it through the pen as in step 3 The 3Doodler Start Essentials Pack + DoodleBlock. Exclusive to Amazon!
