iBeacons are small devices that transmit signals to nearby, Bluetooth enabled, devices. These BLE iBeacons can be programmed to transmit notifications ,such as advertisement messages and can even collect data. Every time a user passes within range of the beacon, that information can be collected.
Very Important: Users need to have a mobile app to receive notifications.
