IBIS: A Switch Designed Right Normal switches only allow you to switch between multiple sources (like a Blu Ray player, gaming console, cable box, etc) using a single display. The IBIS is a bi-directional switch. That means it will allow you to switch between multiple sources on a single display OR switch between multiple displays from a single source. The switch supports full HDCP passthrough, so you don t need to worry about data encryption. Plus, a simple LED system lets you know which source or display you d like to switch to. A simple push-button design lets you easily move from one to the other and back. Plus, it s about the most affordable 1x2 switch on the market, even without it s bi-directional capabilities. A Must-have for PS4 Pro + PSVR Sony s PS4 Pro has HDR support, and a VR headset. The problem is that you can t have your VR headset plugged in when you want to watch HDR because the VR does not support HDR. So every time you want HDR you have to unplug the PSVR and plug in the PS4 directly to the TV. With the IBIS you simply switch with the push of a button. Note: Splitters vs. Switches An HDMI switch will take multiple sources and allow you to choose which single source will be displayed on the TV. Wheras an HDMI splitter will duplicate a single HDMI source on multiple HDMI displays. Getting the Right Cables Do you have all the right devices and still not reaching your full resolutions?
