Prehistoric creatures from dimestores of the distant past have returned! This bag of 48 Tim Mee dinosaur figure set is proudly manufactured in the United States, and includes 24 yellow and 24 olive green dinos for maximum play value. Nine different figures include T-Rex, Dimetrodon, Stegosaurus, Brontosaurus (Apatosaurus), Ankylosaurus, Diceratops (Nedoceratops), Duck-Billed-Dinosaur (Hadrosaurid), Saber-Toothed-Tiger (Smilodon), and Wooly Mammoth. Figures measure up to 2.8 inches long (72mm) and scales vary wildly from approximately 1:40 to 1:350. Made from fairly stiff HDPE plastic with medium detail and just a little flashing. Originally produced by Processed Plastic (Tim Mee s parent company) in the 1970 s, these figures harken back to a to a time before scientific facts got in the way of fun and Ice-Age Mammals came packed along with Jurrasic, Cretaceous, and Permian dinosaurs for epic backyard prehistoric battles. For the dinos triumphant return to production, the manufacturer has restored the vintage Tim Mee Toys logo that was retired decades ago and only recently returned along with the reissued Tim Mee Army Men in 2011. These are real plastic creatures, meant to be set up, knocked down, picked up and played with for years to come! Packed in plastic bag with header card and recommended for ages 5 to 105!
